Class at the State House

What better way to start the day off than with a tour of the South Carolina State House?

Today we met with Representative Micah Caskey and tour guides of the State House in Columbia to learn a little bit more about South Carolina's legislative process as a whole. The state house was absolutely gorgeous and adorned with lots of wonderful paintings. 

We had fruit and sandwiches at this amazing waterfront park, and took time to soak in the sunshine, walk around, and destress.

After that is was off to the Columbia office for further phone banking and outreach.
