Our day began with a visit to the South Carolina Republican Party Headquarters. It was so lovely meeting with Executive Director Hope Walker, Office Manager Nikki Trawick, and Communications Director Abby Zilch. I loved how they talked about the inner workings of the office and certainly inspired me to get more involved in politics.

After a lunch at Cookout, we headed to the office in Charleston for a very special event with Lara Trump, wife of Donald Trump's son Eric Trump. She did a wonderful job encouraging people to vote and focusing on the meaning of a Trump presidency. 

Grace and I had the opportunity to check people in for the event and actually saw Lara's car pulling into the parking spot. 

This was our last day at the Charleston office and we couldn't be more grateful to Eric, Jack, and Hamilton for making this such a meaningful and surreal experience.
